I’m Alejandro Garza; I work at Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Library as head of the Tech & Innovation team, which gathers data from users, coworkers, under rocks and the industry to try and get the library to view change as something normal and good (hopefully).

If you want to do something akin to this, you must:

• tread carefully (!)
• read some Tufte, some Griffin, and some blogs that care about it
• do stuff! prototypes are your friends!
• go and make mistakes; you’ll learn eventually
• show, don’t tell
